A great humanitarian, Richard spent 25 years as a Paramedic with Toronto EMS. In his last few years, as the Supervisor of Media Relations, Rick was able to leverage his roots with EMS to greatly benefit children in the community. He raised awareness of the contributions of EMS to the community, but also directly influenced and ultimately benefited a number of programs in the City of Toronto, for its citizens and most importantly its children.

Toronto EMS continues to be an integral part of the RBFCC – supporting events such as the annual golf tournament and the breakfast program running in Richard’s name.
